Inscriptions
Registration is completed when proof of payment for the workshop and / or excursion is sent to the email info@carlosjavierphotography.com. Note: if the payment is not made at the time of registration, the entire payment must be paid within 5 business days after the registration in order to maintain the reservation.
Cancellation and refund policy for workshops and excursions
120 - 179 days or more before the start date: 100% refund less a service fee of 50,000 COP
60 - 119 days: 75% refund less a service fee of 50,000 COP
30 - 59 days: 50% refund less a 50,000 COP service fee
Less than 30 days: no refund
If the workshop or excursion quotas are not completed, you will be reimbursed 100% during the 5 business days following the date originally scheduled for the excursion. Refunds will be paid by the same method with which the original payment was made or by bank transfer at the client's choice.
Itinerary changes
We reserve the right to change the dates, itinerary or accommodation of the excursion as conditions require. We reserve the right to change the itinerary due to weather conditions, political conditions and other factors beyond our control without consulting the participants. It is understood that such decisions will be taken in the best interest of all participants always seeking their safety. Participants are not entitled to any reimbursement or other considerations in the event that these inevitable changes in the itinerary occur. If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transport delays, public order problems, illness or other circumstances of fortuitous event or force majeure, we do not assume the cost of delays or changes
Itinerary cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel the tour (and photographic departure of any of the workshops) before departure due to any fortuitous event or force majeure, including very few participants or logistical problems, strikes, public order problems or any other circumstance that may advise against the proper functioning of the trip. All payments will be refunded immediately.
We are not responsible for the expenses incurred by participants during the preparation of the trip such as special clothing, visa or passport fees or other expenses related to the trip. Nor do we assume personal expenses of the participants during the trips, nor those costs not specified.
Limitations of Liability
We do not assume any responsibility for injuries, theft, theft and / or damage of equipment and / or personal objects of the participants that occur during the provision of any of the services offered. Likewise, we do not assume any responsibility for any inconvenience, delays or expenses that may cause strikes, delays or transport problems that delay the scheduled itinerary. Nor for unforeseen changes in accommodation as long as they continue to guarantee the comfort and well-being of the participants.
In the event that a medical problem arises during the expedition, which results in evacuation costs, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for paying these costs rests solely with the passenger. We strongly recommend that passengers ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance. If it is not covered by travel insurance, the responsibility remains with the passenger.
